Delete: Part of a set of articles created, moved to strange places, nominated for deletion (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Plastic Weaving Art), speedily deleted and so forth. The creating editor seems to be trying to make a point rather than argue their case. WP:POINT may well apply. Duplicates Plastic Weaving Art] in spirit if not in words. Could well be CSD A10. Blackened Recordings

Blackened Recordings is not an independent entity from Metallica themselves. The origins of the record label are exclusively contained within the history of the band and their desire to want to own their own work. And this is, in fact, the sole purpose of the record label [1] (any source that exists out there discussing Blackened Recordings will likely just be a rehash of this initial announcement). It was made by Metallica, it does not sign any other artist but Metallica, and it has not released anything but work made by Metallica. It is also not similar to something like Reprise Records or Republic Records, which are whole companies with their own standout history, because Blackened Recordings has no history. No reliable source is provided for Schenck's dates/places of birth and death but they appear to be generated from Find a Grave (with the wrong month/date order in the infobox), which is a WP:USERGENERATED source. WP:DRAFTOBJECT prevents unilateral return to Draft, however, in view of the creating editor appearing unwilling to take the advice of reviewers, I feel deletion to be the correct route. As part of my rationale I quote the latest reviewer, Theroadislong: "still entirely inappropriate tone and unclear what the sources are supporting as they are not inline...see WP:REFB". I see WP:ESSAY and WP:ADMASQ, together with a paucity of correct referencing. I doubt WP:GNG. I cannot spot it. The term is not a neologism per se, but this appears to be a 'new thing' not (yet) having notability. Delete - This article reads like an advertisement for the plastic weaving industry in the city of Dharavi. However the weaving of plastic has taken place around the world for practical applications for example clothing from synthetic fibers, Kevlar for armor, industrial upholstery, artists works, etc. It's not a new thing, it's just not something that happens solely in Dharavi. The sources are not verifiable that the plastic weaving industry in Dharavi is particularly notable enough to distinguish it from other 100s of other places around the globe. I'll copy my BLAR explanation here: " Looking through the history, this article was created, then subsequently tagged with Template:notability among other clean up tags. It was then redirected to the parent company, Surfshark. Following this redirection, an editor translated the French version of this article (which itself was translated from the earlier English version of this article) back in to English. Similar case to List of Danish artists nominated for MTV Europe Music Awards and List of Welsh artists nominated for MTV Europe Music Awards. I don't see any WP:RS taking significant notice of the phenomenon of Norwegian artists being nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards. The sources recently added verify that the artists were respectively nominated for various awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards but, importantly, none of the sources discuss all 4 artists as a group nor is there any extended commentary on their Norwegian nationality. In fact, only the Billboard source seems to make any reference to Norway. I did a quick WP:BEFORE and couldn't find any news sources writing about this phenomenon. Hoax? I already moved two articles by the same creator to draftspace because many of the sources didn't seem to exist (Draft:Battle of Urmia (June 1918) and Draft:Battle of Urmia (April 1918) (2)), and the next one I checked was this one. This time, the first source does exist[20] but it doesn't mention Churs. The source given as attribution also exists ([21] but also doesn't mention Churs. Keep The article needs some work, but there is ample coverage capable of meeting WP:BAND criterion #1 if you expand your search to French music publications. For example, there is this French article published by Nova. This includes some significant coverage, albeit tangentially to an article about their record label, but tangential coverage can still satisfy WP:SIGCOV. There are also two brief articles about their 2012 album and about a 2023 song, both published by Jazz Radio. Lastly, I also found a 2015 article about them by Radio France. Weak keep. Though I've myself triggered more than a few AfD/PROM noms on non-notable schools, I think this one might just about meet WP:NORG/WP:GNG. Barely. While most of the coverage I found in my own WP:BEFORE is from local/regional papers (like that in The Avondhu of school extension project and alumni), there is some coverage in national outlets (like Irish Examiner and Irish Independent - granted largely "match report" style reporting that is not especially WP:INDEPTH on the school itself). If there is consensus that the school doesn't have independent notability, then (per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES and as an WP:ATD) I wonder if the title should be a redirect to Lismore,_County_Waterford#Education. Weak delete. apart from articles about individual athletes from the school, I dont really see in-depth coverage of the school itself. I dont believe that coverage of athletes or participants in science competitions should count towards notability of the school itself since it is about the person that competes and not their school. Article claims e.g. that the minimum will go from 2020 to 2053, and "it is expected to reduce the average global temperature by up to 1.0–1.5°C.", but the current second source[25] gives "They named the most likely scenario as a decrease in solar activity in the period up to 2100, but this will lead to only a small decrease in global temperature of about 0.08 ° C"? Url for third source is same as for second source, and first source is an editorial, not a peer-reviewed paper. Delete. The plausibility and impacts of a grand solar minimum occurring in the 21st century have been discussed in the academic literature (e.g., [26], 2010; [27], 2013; [28], 2013; [29], 2015; [30], 2015), but I do not think that the coverage is WP:SIGNIFICANT enough to warrant its own dedicated article. Furthermore, more recent data from solar cycle 25 suggests that this scenario is unlikely. I think mentioning a hypothesized future minimum and its impacts in Solar minimum#Grand solar minima and maxima would be sufficient. I do not think a merge would be appropriate because the current content and refs are not suitable as mentioned by Fram. A relevant quote from [31] (2025):

"While earlier studies hypothesized that solar activity could decline to levels similar to those of the Maunder Minimum (Abreu et al., 2008; Lockwood et al., 2011; Anet et al., 2013), more recent solar observations suggest a different trajectory. In particular, sunspot number (SSN) records for Solar Cycle 25 already exceed those of Cycle 24, indicating that solar activity is currently increasing (SIDC – Solar Influences Data Analysis Center, 2024). As such, a Dalton-like or Gleissberg-type minimum is considered more plausible in the near future."

As a side note, the first reference in the article is from Valentina Zharkova who seems to be the main source in popular media claiming that there is an upcoming grand solar minimum. Some of their work also appears to be very climate-change-denial adjacent. There is a Live Science article rebutting Zharkova's grand solar minimum: [32]. @LibStar The source you mentioned doesn't completely refers to the corresponding part of the article, but explain the overseas missions of NATO, and the role of the United States with other NATO members on mutual military missions. I mentioned there Albania as part of NATO makes military trainings in overseas territories, which Marshall Islands, an ally of the United States, is located. These relations for these countries are not very huge, but moving in the future will be new developments, so the articles for these relations of Albania with Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands and Tonga will be expanded as new projects will be go through between these countries. See for example, the articles of Australia with these countries which are very tiny, also the relations of Albania with these countries are at a certain point at the moment. @Geschichte This simple content I provided to these relations is enough to inform the Wikipedia visitors about the relations between these countries. Each country has a relation with another country, no matter how small or huge is that relation with that country. There are missing articles on Wikipedia about the relations of some countries with each other, but I decided to write these relations

of these countries, since they are both part of many international organizations (which I have mentioned at these articles), Albania as part of NATO makes sometimes military trainings in overseas missions (which I have mentioned at these articles) and both countries, which are bordered by sea, make trades with each other and these trades include fishery, aquatic machinery, mobile equipment and other trades (which I have mentioned at these articles). So these articles for the relations of Albania with Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands and Tonga should be kept on Wikipedia and advancing in the future, new material will be added, as will be other new developments towards these relations. Disagree to your bias assessment of independent sources. While it is true the Deseret News should not be considered independent for this subject, the Salt Lake Tribune is a separate legal entity and there are hundreds of articles on Wikipedia that maintain its independent status. "Mormon-themed blogs" are also not an exclusionary source just as "baseball-themed blogs" would not be exclusionary to create interviews independent of Major League Baseball. I agree completely in efforts to require independent sourcing, but for a pioneering woman of color this article meets the requirements--and has already been reviewed as such in the past. Redirect to Deseret News. That is where Catherine M. Stokes redirects at present. Given that the original AfD did not note the lack of independence amongst the sources combined with the fact that a search of sources via the Chicago Public Library and at the State Archives revealed that contrary to one contributor's assertion, there is not in fact a substantial amount of content from her time in Illinois. The articles gave her the title of manager and assistant deputy director in the state's Office of Health Care Regulation. The lack of being listed in the Illinois Blue Book at any point makes me wonder if Deputy Director was her final title or if they rounded up in her editorial biography. Keep I have added the sources and info I am able to access online (there are others, but I either don't have access or have reached my limit in those titles on Google Books). I believe that she at least meets WP:BASIC, with coverage in books published by Oxford University Press, University of Illinois Press, Brigham Young University Press, the Chicago Tribune and other newspapers and journals. I do not believe the Chicago Tribune sources you cite constitute in-depth coverage of the subject (as I stated I looked). The few articles are far closer to the three blind mice (quotes in her capacity as a mid-level IDPH employee, reaction to local LDS event) than the IBM book per example provided in "significant coverage" in WP:GNG. comment from reading the bn article, it seems that this is a primary/high school and not a college/university. Even in the much longer bn article I dont really see any strong indication of notability. My WP:BEFORE yielded nothing [49].

An argument for keep is that this film marks the debut of Harish Uthaman and per Wikipedia:Notability_(films)#Inclusionary_criteria #2. However, An article on the film should be created only if there is enough information on it that it would clutter up the biography page of that person if it was mentioned there. is false. A good redirect target. The actor's page also mentions that he won the Norway Tamil Film Festival Awards for Best Newcomer award for the film. Hard to decide if this film is notable [50]. I copied the one interview from the actor's page to the film: [51], which was from 2013 about a different film Gouravam but where he mentions the film's failure. Other than this source, I doubt any other sources exist.

This page fails WP:NSONG as it is not the "subject of multiple, non-trivial published works" — the editor who objected to the PROD has suggested the article should be kept because it "was a hit for at least 2 artists" and it "charted in at least 2 countries", but neither of those are qualifications for keeping an article.

Before the PROD was contested, this article merely contained chart information and song credits, neither of which being considered coverage of the song. Of the four sources added after the contestation:

Schmusa seems to be an obituary of Farian which only mentions the song
Schlagerprofis seems to be a self-published source, as their "About us" page only lists Stephan Imming as their "team", and most articles on the site (including this one) are written by him
Bravo is an interview with Schnier, which is obviously not independent
Die Chronik der Zdf-Hitparade is the best bet of this song being notable, but even then it's only one source and the song gets just one paragraph in a much larger piece

You should know that with German hits, there's not much of the paperwork that we can access from Western countries. But believe me, just because you can't find it via Google in a short or slightly longer period, doesn't mean it's not notable. That being the case, much of the German and other European countries stuff on Wikipedia would have to be taken down.

However, you have also just exemplified my point in this AfD discussion: saying that there is a lack of accessible, published information on a song goes directly against both WP:NSONG and the general notability guidelines, and strongly suggests that this song is not notable enough for a page. Saying that the song deserves an article because "it was a hit", at least in the way that it is framed here, is original research as you are trying to assert a position to which no reliable sources exist. Similarly, suggesting that "much of the German and other European countries stuff on Wikipedia would have to be taken down" is an WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS argument which is tangential to this discussion.

I understand that you are trying to argue that there *is* a wealth of information regarding this song in the real world and that it simply is not reflected in this article's sourcing, but the sources which you added after objecting to a PROD (assuming that it was a best effort to prove this song's notability) do not support that assertion. Please take comfort in knowing that most songs do not end up with individual Wikipedia pages; they tend to end up on artist or discography pages, where chart information like the ones you found can still be reflected. And I certainly agree that there are plenty of song articles with tenuous-at-best sourcing. Draftify or Delete. I was the second AFC reviewer for this page. I declined the draft because of no significant coverage just as it was declined by previous AFC reviewer. Sources were poor and unreliable. Creator then moved the draft to mainspace without following up on feedback. It was reverted but the creator moved it back again to mainspace. Youtube is unreliable and live hindustan reliability is questionable. Jagran and News18 are poor with no reliable significant coverage. Jagran article is on renovation of the temple and need for 1 crore rupee for it. News18 disclaimer for the story based on legends, says "The information given in this news has been written after talking to astrologers and acharyas on the basis of zodiac sign, religion and scriptures. Any incident, accident or profit or loss is just a coincidence. Information from astrologers is in everyone's interest. Local-18 does not personally endorse anything stated." One of the livehindustan article is also on same legends and mythology, and these news also reads like "Paid news and undisclosed advertorials" per WP:NEWSORGINDIA. The suggestions that newspapers qualify under the criteria for "corporations and organizations" is fairly absurd. Yes it's a product but so are films, video games, books, which we have our own guidelines for, or any other kind of media, which we do not - clearly NCORP is not meant to cover "literally any piece of media", because that is absurd and counter to the spirit of notability. Better to go by WP:GNG or the suggestions at WP:NMEDIA... under which this does not pass, if the sourcing is all there is. This page does have no independent sources at the moment and needs to be largely trimmed. If this is all there is I would lean delete but if there is more coverage from outside sources (as the award would indicate there probably is) I would be more sympathetic. Keep: 2 lead (ergo significant) roles in notable series, Zulm and Mann Mast Malang, thus meeting WP:NACTOR that states that actors "may be considered notable if" they had significant roles in notable productions. To pass WP:NACTOR, coverage is only needed to verify the importance of the roles in the notable productions. No notability guideline warrants "inherent notability" on WP: all of them, including WP:GNG mention a "presumption" of notability of some sort (presumed/may/likely, etc). See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ali Raza (actor), an AfD that I link here not for its outcome nor potential disagreements between given users but because it contains an extensive discussion about WP:NACTOR and WP:SNGs in general. Meeting given specific requirements for notability can be considered sufficient, per consensus; that is why such guidelines exist; when the requirements of the applicable guideline are met, it can be agreed upon that the article may be retained. By the same token, those who don’t agree are obviously free to express their views but meeting specific requirements can be considered a good and sufficient reason to retain any page; in other words, in such cases, subjects don't need to also meet the general requirements. Few things. The first is that although the AfD you linked here shows your contention that NACTOR is met with two main/lead roles, it also shows a divide amongst editors on how to interpret that. Note it closed as No Consensus with the closing admin noting that editors were divided in the assessment of NACTOR. However, the AfDs here and here where you asserted the same resulted in delete. While this does not establish consensus, it does show that editors do not share the same assessment. Note, I am not saying she must meet WP:GNG. I am saying she meets neither. Second, NACTOR is not met with two roles with "coverage is only needed to verify the importance of the roles in the notable productions." In fact, it says "meeting one or more does not guarantee that a subject should be included." Here, the sources are junk. They are non-bylined coverage similar to WP:NEWSORGINDIA, churnalism, websites like Celebrity Networth, or are otherwise unreliable. If someone is worthy of notice, you would think they would have more than this type of simple coverage. It would be more significant where they would meet WP:NBASIC. Finally, one of the shows you claim is a notable series, you actually redirected based on notability. You only reverted in March of 2025 to help support your contention in the first AfD. I respectfully disagree with the suggestion to merge Babarloi Dharna into the "Controversial canals project on Indus River" article; because Babarloi Dharna is a specific protest or an event and significant enough on its own, meanwhile The Controversial canals project on Indus River is a larger, broader infrastructure project with multiple issues, possibly including protests. While the two topics are related, they are distinct: Babarloi Dharna is a notable, standalone protest movement that received significant and enough independent media coverage, (i.e news articles, reports, studies, etc.). It is not merely a minor part of the broader canals project, but a major event with its own political and social impact. So therefore it deserves its own Wikipedia article based on Wikipedia's notability guidelines (specially WP:GNG — general notability guideline) and Wikipedia’s notability guidelines (WP:N). Comment Controversial Canals on Indus River, or Cholistan Canal Project both articles are about the mega project (which has become controversial). It's important to pay attention to the details of a large infrastructure project that has sparked controversy. On the other hand, the article about the Babarloi Dharna/Sit-in highlights a different social and political movement, which covers a public protest against these proposed controversial canal projects.

Combining the protest article with the project-related articles would mix up the topic of dissent with how that dissent is expressed, which isn't right. BangladeshiEditorInSylhet, I am not sure you have understood what WP:THREE is. Here you give us three sources, all from the Bangladesh Government. The first is simply a list of registered newspapers in Bangladesh, and says nothing about the page subject. I can only suppose that you present it here for some other reason than as one of the three best sources. Perhaps you intend to use it to show that sources on the page are reliable. Whether it does that or not would be moot, as the purpose of source evaluation would be to see whether there is significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) of the page subject in independent and reliable secondary sources. You simply state that sources are independent and reliable, but nothing here demonstrates it. Alternatively you perhaps actually meant this to be one of the best three sources, in which case we do not have SIGCOV, the page is a government list, which is a primary source, and not independent and does not even mention the subject. So that one is definitely a N. As to the other two, they are at least about the area but again, a list of newspapers does not even talk bout the subject. N. This problem is general. No sources on the page meet the requirements for GNG. But per WP:THREE that you mention, I am still willing to look at any three sources you think may show notability per WP:GNG. The movement is an existing, formally established and growing association with social media presence. Other countries’ chapters of Volt, including the niche ones in the startup phase, have their own pages on Wikipedia. The argument that the association is not publicly well-known hence the article should be deleted is arbitrary.

It is not yet a formally established party, hence you unnecessarily expect elected officials, but neither are Volt chapters of other countries with their own Wikipedia webpages, operating as associations. Among his other credits, he is again listed on the songs for Descendants 2 (Soundtrack). My understanding is that he meets the requirements of notability as a musical artist. I've also attempted to address the issue of promotional tone when it was returned to draft with a rewrite, but am open any help regarding addressing that issue.

Creator keep It has an article because it's notable and passes WP:NSONG. There are several references in the article, and many more sources out there, that demonstrate how this song broke charting records as the shortest song to ever chart in the history of the UK singles chart, the Billboard Hot 100, and charted in many other territories. It is a clear pass of NSONG. Also, I want to note that this deletion discussion was likely made out of revenge or spite after I nominated two files made by the creator of this deletion discussion for deletion that they uploaded for the article. The initial redirecting of this article also had no explanation given. And knowing that no acknowledgement was given to the sources actually present in this article that demonstrate its performance, I cannot classify this as ANY more than a revenge nomination.
